The final quarter of 2020 brought varying fortunes for car game applications in Australia. With data sourced from Sensor Tower, we can see how the top five car games fared on the unified iOS and Android platforms during this period.

Parking Jam 3D, published by Popcore GmbH, showed a rising trend in revenue, culminating at approximately $265K in the last week of December from a starting point of about $94K in late September. Downloads surged to a peak of 24K in mid-November, followed by a moderate decline to 18K by year-end. Weekly active users mirrored this pattern, hitting a high of 43K before settling at 37K.

DriverKing - Get the Crown from Small Beautiful, despite having no reported revenue, saw an initial strong download figure at 18K, which gradually decreased to approximately 6.5K by the end of December. Active users followed a similar declining trend from 33K to around 16K.

KAYAC Inc.'s Park Master experienced a drop in revenue to negligible amounts by the close of Q4. The game's downloads also saw a downward slope from 12K to around 11K, while weekly active users initially decreased before rebounding to 41K from a low of 25K.

Zynga Inc.’s Gear Race 3D had no revenue to report but downloads showed a remarkable increase from virtually none in early November to a substantial 43K in the final week of December. Weekly active users grew significantly, from a mere 141 in late November to an impressive 56K by the end of the quarter.

Lastly, Slingshot Stunt Driver & Sport by TapNice Sp. z o.o. saw its revenue decrease from around $586K to $216K. Downloads and active users both followed a declining trend, with downloads dropping from 6.5K to approximately 2.7K, and active users falling from 10K to around 5.5K.
